A longtime favorite of park goers, Curry Village was renamed Half Dome Village, as of March 1, 2016, but it reverted back to its historic name in 2019. Founded in 1899 by David and Jennie Curry, the village is a charming and historic assortment of 46 cabins with private baths and 424 canvas tent cabins sitting under the iconic Half Dome and Glacier Point. Visitors also can stay at Stoneman Cottage that has 18 motel rooms.

Glamping never looked so good! Far from your camping tent, these sturdy canvas tent cabins accommodate between two and five people, have wooden doors and come equipped with beds, sheets, wool blankets and pillows. Choose from tents with heat or no heat. There is an electrical light, but that’s where the “glam” part of “glamping” ends. There are no electrical outlets to recharge your phone and no TV. Bathrooms are located outside of the tents in central locations.

Get away from it all in the village cabins, equipped with beds and linens that are serviced every day by housekeepers. Electric heaters keep you warm at night and you can charge your phone in one of the cabin’s electrical outlets. You can make a reservation for a variety of bed configurations, so call reservations to reserve the right cabin for your needs.

Stoneman Cottage

Stay in Stoneman Cottage with rooms that have a private bath, daily housekeeping service and heating, but no telephones or televisions. Bed linens, blankets and towels are provided. Rooms include one or two double beds.
