Yosemite National Park Reopens

Yosemite National Park is open again after being closed for the 16-day-long government shutdown. All roads, major highways, campgrounds and visitor centers opened to the public on the evening of Wed., Oct. 16.

Visitors to Yosemite can drive on roads throughout the park. However, we encourage you to use shuttle buses, where available. Also, some roads are closed at certain times of the year.
