Ice Skating Rinks in Yosemite and Beyond
Yosemite’s Curry Village Ice Skating Rink under Half Dome

In 2013, The Huffington Post included the Curry Village (called Half Dome Village from 2016-2019) ice skating rink as one of the staff’s 10 favorite ice skating rinks. “If ice skating isn’t something that usually takes your breath away, the stunning views of the Half Dome and Glacier Point totally will.”

The Curry Village Ice Rink is located near the Huff Housing area. Purchase ice skating tickets at the Curry Village Tour & Activity Desk adjacent to the Registration Office. Each ticket is good for two hours of skating.
Skating is available from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. It’s open 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.

Ice Skating Rinks in the Yosemite Area
Long Barn Lodge
On the west side of Yosemite, enjoy ice skating inside at Long Barn Lodge (www.longbarnlodge.net/ice-skating.html). Never ice skated before? The lodge offers private and group skating lessons. Have a skating party and stay at their cabins and hotel rooms.
Tenaya Lodge

At Yosemite’s south entrance, lace up some ice skates and hit the rink at Tenaya Lodge. Tenaya’s sparkling white ice rink measures an expansive 80 feet by 40 feet, and is open for day and evening skating sessions. Enjoy the romance and family fun of gliding over the ice while surrounded by the Sierra National Forest. Ice skating is a winter sport that’s a fun challenge for all ages and abilities.
